Steps to perform Hard Reset

Performing a hard reset will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications.

 

  1. From the Today screen,tap Start > Settings.
  2. From the System tab, tap Clear Storage.
  3. Enter 1234 then tap Yes.

 

Alternate method to perform Hard Reset

Performing a hard reset will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications.

 

  1. While holding the Left and Right soft key simultaneously.
  2. While holding the left and right soft keys, use the stylus to gently press and release the reset button.
  3. When prompted, press the R key on the QWERTY keyboard.
  4. When prompted, press Space on the QWERTY keyboard.

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
