Steps to perform Hard Reset
Performing a hard reset will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications.
- Tap Start > Programs.
- Locate and tap Clear Storage.
- Enter 1234 then tap Yes.
- Tap OK in the active window to reset the device.
Alternate method to perform Hard Reset
Performing a hard reset will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications.
- While holding the Left and Right soft keys, insert the stylus into the reset hole for 2 seconds.
- Screen will now display, Press Y to restore factory default. Press N to exit. Press Y on the QWERTY keyboard.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
