How to master reset Samsung SGH-a667 Evergreen
Steps to perform Master Reset
This changes the phone settings back to default. This process does not erase personal data or downloaded content (contacts, pictures, ringtones, etc.).
- From the standby screen, select Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Phone.
- Scroll to and select Reset Phone.
- Select Yes to confirm.
- Enter the phone password, then select Confirm. The password is user-defined; there is no default. If a password has yet to be established, the phone will prompt for a new password to be entered and then confirmed.
- A confirmation message will display and the phone will then reboot.
Steps to Restore Phone
A restore not only changes the phone settings back to default, but also erases personal data and downloaded content (contacts, pictures, ringtones, etc.). This process cannot be undone.
- From the standby screen, select Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Phone.
- Scroll to and select Restore Phone.
- Select Yes to confirm.
- Enter the phone password, then select Confirm. The password is user-defined; there is no default. If a password has yet to be established, the phone will prompt for a new password to be entered and then confirmed.
- A confirmation message will display and the phone will then reboot.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
