Steps to Reset Settings

This will reset the phone to factory default settings. This will not delete your personal information; it will restore only settings like default ringtone, keypad tones, and display settings.

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the left soft key for Menu and then select Settings > Phone > Security.
  2. Enter the Phone Lock Code. The default lock code is the last four digits of your phone number.
  3. Select Reset Settings. Read the information displayed and scroll down to select Yes and press the OK key.

 

Steps to Reset Phone

This will reset the phone to factory default settings and permanently erase all entries and information,including pictures, videos, music, messages, contacts and downloaded applications.

 

  1. From the Home screen, press the left soft key for Menu and then select Settings > Phone Security.
  2. Enter the Phone Lock Code. The default lock code is the last four digits of your phone number.
  3. Select Restore Phone. Read the information displayed and scroll down to select Yes and press the OK key.
  4. Press the OK key again. Your device will then restart.

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
