How to master reset Samsung SCH-i760
Steps to perform Hard Reset
This will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications.
- From the Today screen, tap Start > Phone.
- From the Phone screen, tap Menu > Options.
- From the Security tab, tap Clear All Data.
- Enter password, then tap OK. the default password is the last 4 digits of mobile number.
- Tap Yes.
Alternate method to perform Hard Reset
This will erase all data and restore preferences to factory default specifications.
- Slide open the device to expose QWERTY keyboard.
- Pres and hold the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
- While holding the center of the 5-way navigation pad, use the stylus to gently press and release the reset button.
- When Clearing Data... appears on the screen, release the center of the 5-way navigation pad.
- When prompted, tap the screen to setup the device.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
