Steps to Reset Settings

This restores all the default settings of your phone without deleting any data you have entered, such as entries to your Contacts list. The Contacts, history, Scheduler, and Messaging are not affected.


  1. Press  Menu/OK key > Settings > More... > Security and enter your lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
  2. Select Erase/ResetDefault Settings.
  3. Select Yes to confirm the selection.
  4. Select Yes to confirm the selection.


Steps to Reset Phone

This restores all the factory defaults, including the ringer types and display settings and all the user data is deleted.


  1. Press  Menu/OK key > Settings More... > Security and enter your lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
  2. Select Erase/Reset > Reset Phone.
  3. Read the disclaimer, press OK (left softkey), and then select Yes and press Menu/OK key.
  4. If you are then sure you want all data erased and the phone reset to its factory default state, then press Yes (left softkey)


Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
