Steps to Reset Settings
This returns all settings to factory defaults. This does not erase user data such as pictures, videos, music, messages, contacts or downloaded applications stored on the phone.
- From the Home screen, touch Menu > Settings & Tools > Phone Settings > Security. Enter the lock code when prompted. The default lock code is the last four digits of your phone number.
- Touch Reset Settings.
- At the prompt, touch Yes to reset settings.
Steps to Restore Phone
This returns all settings to factory defaults and erases all user data.
- From the Home screen, touch Menu > Settings & Tools > Phone Settings > Security. Enter the lock code when prompted. The default lock code is the last four digits of your phone number.
- Touch Restore Phone.
- At the prompt, touch Yes to restore phone.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
