How to master reset Samsung SCH-i405 Stratosphere
Steps to Reset Phone
This will reset the phone to factory default settings. This reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- From the home screen, select Applications.
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy.
- From the Personal data section, select Factory data reset.
- Select Reset phone. If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
- Select Erase everything. Allow up to 5 minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
Alternate way to Reset Phone
This will reset the phone to factory default settings. This reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- Long press the Power button.
- Select Power off.
- With the slide closed, long press the Volume up button + Volume down button + Power button.
- When the SAMSUNG appears on the device screen, release Power button.
- Select wipe data / factory reset. Utilize the Volume Up / Down buttons to highlight and the Home key to select.
- Press the Volume up button.
- Select reboot system now. Utilize the Volume Up / Down buttons to highlight and the Home key to select.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
