How to master reset Motorola ROKR E1
Steps to perform Master Reset
A master reset on the Motorola ROKR E1 will reset the device settings back to factory default. Phonebook entries, Unlock codes, Security codes and Lifetime timer will not be reset.
- From the standby screen, select Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Initial Setup.
- Select Master Reset.
- Enter Security Code, then select Yes to reset the device.The default security code is 000000.
Steps to perform Master Clear
A master reset on the Motorola ROKR E1 will reset the device settings back to factory default. Phonebook entries, Unlock codes, Security codes and Lifetime timer will also be reset.
- From the standby screen,select Menu.
- Select Settings.
- Select Initial Setup.
- Select Master Clear.
- Enter Security Code, then select Yes.The default security code is 000000.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
