Steps to perform Hard Reset

Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.

 

  1. From the home screen, touch the Applications tab.
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Privacy.
  4. Touch Factory data reset.
  5. Touch Reset Phone. If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
  6. Touch Erase Everything.

 

Alternate method to perform Hard Reset

Performing a hard reset will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.

 

  1. With the device powered off, slide the keyboard open.
  2. Press the Power key and the X key simultaneously, until the Recovery screen appears. The Recovery screen displays a graphic of an exclamation point within a triangle. 
  3. Press the Search key.
  4. Using the Volume keys, select Wipe data factory reset then press the Camera key.
  5. Using the Volume keys, select Yes -- delete all user data then press the Camera key. Operation may take approximately one minute to complete.
  6. Using the Volume keys, select Reboot system now then press the Camera key.

 

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
