Steps to Reset Phone

A master reset reverts the device settings back to their factory defaults.  It will permanently erase all personal data, and content such as pictures, ringtones and apps that are saved to the device.  It is recommended that you save (backup) important data to your SIM, or a computer before proceeding. 

 

  1. Drag down the notification bar, and then tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to and tap Privacy.
  3. Tap Factory data reset.
  4. Tap Reset phone. If security is enabled, enter your unlock PIN, password, pattern, or face unlock.
  5. Tap Erase everything.

  

Alternate way to Reset Phone

  1. With phone powered off, press and hold the Volume Up and the Power key simultaneously for 10 seconds.
  2. The screen displays Boot Mode Selection Menu; press the Volume Down key until Yes -- delete all user data is highlighted.
  3. Press the Power key.
  4. When data wipe is complete, and reboot system now is highlighted press the Power key.

 

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
