Reset instructions for Motorola W315

 

To Perform a Master Clear

 This resets the phone to factory default settings and erases all user data.

 

  1. Press the center select key.
  2. Scroll to and select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Initial Setup.
  4. Scroll to and select Master Clear.
  5. If prompted for a Security Code, enter 000000 or last 4 digits of your phone number.
  6. Select OK to confirm.

 

To Perform a Master Reset

This resets the phone to factory default settings.

  3. Scroll to and select Initial Setup.
  4. Scroll to and select Master Reset. 
  5. If prompted for a Security Code, enter 000000 or last 4 digits of your phone number.
  6. Select OK to confirm.

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
