Steps to perform Factory Reset
Factory Data Reset is a tool used to remove everything that was imported, added or installed on the device. When using this feature; everything is deleted.
- Open the Applications Tray. (arrow pointing up located in the middle at the bottom of the display screen)
- Touch Settings.
- Touch Privacy.
- Touch Factory data reset.
- Touch Reset Phone.
- Touch Erase Everything.
Steps to perform factory reset using external keys
If you are unable to navigate through the menu to perform a factory data reset, you can follow the steps outlined below:
- Press and hold the POWER key and both volume keys.
- Continue to hold all 3 keys until an exclamation point and a little green android robot appear.
- Press the HOME key to display the menu.
- Navigate using the volume keys.
- Select Wipe data/factory reset.
- Use the BACK key to select.
- Scroll down to Yes delete all user data.
- Use the BACK key to select.
- Select reboot system now.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
