Steps to perform Factory Reset

Factory Data Reset is a tool used to remove everything that was imported, added or installed on the device. When using this feature; everything is deleted.

 

  1. Open the Applications Tray. (arrow pointing up located in the middle at the bottom of the display screen)
  2. Touch Settings.
  3. Touch Privacy.
  4. Touch Factory data reset.
  5. Touch Reset Phone.
  6. Touch Erase Everything.

 

Steps to perform factory reset using external keys

If you are unable to navigate through the menu to perform a factory data reset, you can follow the steps outlined below:

 

  1. Press and hold the POWER key and both volume keys.
  2. Continue to hold all 3 keys until an exclamation point and a little green android robot appear.
  3. Press the HOME key to display the menu.
  4. Navigate using the volume keys.
  5. Select Wipe data/factory reset.
  6. Use the BACK key to select.
  7. Scroll down to Yes delete all user data.
  8. Use the BACK key to select.
  9. Select reboot system now.

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
