Steps to perform Master Reset

 The device will be set back to factory settings; all data stored on the device will be lost. The device may not be functional for up to 15 minutes after a master reset is performed.


  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Flick to and tap Privacy.
  4. Tap Factory Data Reset.
  5. Tap Reset Phone.To erase all data on SD card (memory card), tap to select Erase entire SD card as well.
  6. Tap Erase Everything. The device will automatically reset and may not function for up to 15 minutes following the master reset.


Steps to perform Master Reset for Android 2.2


  1. From the Home screen, press the Menu key,and then tap Settings.
  2. Scroll to and tap Privacy.
  3. Tap Factory Data Reset.
  4. Tap Reset Phone.If security is enabled, enter your unlock code.
  5. Tap Erase Everything.


Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
