Reset instructions for LG VX8700

 

Steps to Reset Settings

This resets the phone to factory default settings.

 

  1. Press OK key for Menu.
  2. Press the Navigation key downward to select Settings & Tools and press OK.
  3. Press 6 or Phone Settings.
  4. Press 6 or Security.
  5. Enter lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
  6. Press 5 or Reset Default.
  7. Press OK after reading the warning message.
  8. Press 1 or Revert. A confirmation message is displayed briefly before the phone resets itself. 

 

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
