Steps to Reset Settings
The Reset Default process will set the preference settings to factory default but user data and contacts will not be erased.
- From the main screen, press the directional key to choose MENU.
- Select Settings & Tools then press the directional key.
- Select Phone Settings then press the directional key.
- Select Security then press the directional key.
- Enter the Phone Lock Code (typically the last four digits of the phone number).
- Select Reset Default, then press the directional key.
- Press the directional key to continue.
- Select Revert, then press the directional key.
Steps to Restore Phone
The Restore Phone process will erase all user data and contacts on the card.
- From the main screen, press the directional key to choose MENU.
- Select Settings & Tools then press the directional key.
- Select Phone Settings then press the directional key.
- Select Security then press the directional key.
- Enter the Phone Lock Code (typically the last four digits of the phone number).
- Select Restore Phone, then press the directional key.
- Press the directional key to continue.
- Enter the Phone Lock Code (typically the last four digits of the phone number).
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
