How to master reset Kyocera DuraXT
Steps to Reset Settings
This will restore all the factory defaults, including ringer types and display settings. Contacts, History, Calendar, and Messaging are not affected.
- Press Menu/OK key > Settings > Reset/Delete.
- Enter lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
- Highlight Reset Settings and press Menu/OK key.
- Read the message and press the left softkey.
Steps to Reset Phone
This will reset the phone to factory default settings and erase all user data including ringer types, display settings, Contacts, History, Calendar, and Messaging.
- Press Menu/OK key > Settings > Reset/Delete.
- Enter lock code. The default lock code is the last 4 digits of your phone number.
- Highlight Reset Phone and press Menu/OK key.
- Read the message and press the left softkey.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
