Performing a factory reset using device keys

Resetting the device deletes all data, including downloaded applications, and resets the device back to its initial state.

 

  1. With the device turned off, press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button (located at the right panel of the device), and then press the POWER button.
  2. When the device display turns on, release the VOLUME DOWN button.
  3. Use the volume buttons to select CLEAR STORAGE, and then press POWER button.

 

 

Performing a factory reset via settings


  1. Press HOME MENU, then tap Settings.
  2. Scroll down the screen, and then tap Privacy Factory data reset.
  3. On the Factory data reset screen, tap Reset phone

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
