How to master reset Audiovox SMT5600
Steps to Reset Phone
Device will be set back to factory settings, all data stored on the device will be lost. The device may not be functional for up to 15 minutes after a master reset is performed.
- From the standby screen, select Start.
- Select More....
- Select More....
- Select Accessories.
- Select Clear Storage.
- Enter the password, then select Yes. The default password is 1234.
Alternate way to Reset Phone
Device will be set back to factory settings, all data stored on the device will be lost. The device may not be functional for up to 15 minutes after a master reset is performed.
- Press and hold both Soft keys.
- Press the Power key for one second.
- The screen will go black and request the user to press 0 to proceed or press any other key to exit.
- Press 0.
- Process may take 10 minutes.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
