Steps to Reset Settings
This changes the phone settings back to default. This process does not erase personal data or downloaded content (contacts, pictures, ringtones, etc.)
- From the standby screen, tap Menu.
- Locate and tap Settings.
- Tap Phone.
- Tap Reset Phone.
- Tap Yes to confirm.
- Enter the phone password, then tap Confirm. The password is user-defined; there is no default. If a password has yet to be established, the phone will prompt for a new password to be entered and then confirmed.
- A confirmation message will display and the phone will then reboot.
Steps to Restore Phone
This not only changes the phone settings back to default, but also erases personal data and downloaded content (contacts, pictures, ringtones, etc.) This process cannot be undone.
- From the standby screen, tap Menu.
- Locate and tap Settings.
- Tap Phone.
- Scroll to and tap Restore Phone.
- Tap Yes to confirm.
- Enter the phone password, then tap Confirm. The password is user-defined; there is no default. If a password has yet to be established, the phone will prompt for a new password to be entered and then confirmed.
- A confirmation message will display and the phone will then reboot.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
