How to master reset Samsung Droid Charge
Steps to Reset Phone
This will reset the phone to factory default settings. This will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- From the home screen, select Applications.
- Select Settings.
- Select Privacy.
- From the Personal data section, select Factory data reset.
- Select Reset phone. If presented, enter the current passcode or draw the unlock pattern.
- Select Erase everything. Allow up to 5 minutes for the factory data reset and reboot processes to complete.
Alternate way to Reset Phone
This will reset the phone to factory default settings. This will remove ALL data including the Google account, system data, application data, application settings, and downloaded applications.
- Press and hold the Power button.
- Select Power off.
- Press and hold the Volume up key+Home key+Power button simultaneuously until the SAMSUNG appears then release.
- From the Android system recovery screen, select wipe data/factory reset. Utilize the Volume Up / Down keys to highlight and the Home key to select.
- Press the Volume up key to continue.
- Select reboot system now. Allow up to 2 minutes for the reboot process to complete.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
