How to master reset Pantech Link II P5000
Reset instructions for Pantech Link II P5000

 

Soft Reset

 To perform a soft reset, remove and reinsert the battery.

 

Master Reset

All configuration settings will be set back to their factory defaults. Personal data and downloaded content, however, will not be lost.

 

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Reset.
  4. Enter the device password, then press OK. The default password is 1234.
  5. Select Master Reset.
  6. Press Yes to confirm.

 

Master Clear

All configuration settings will be set back to their factory defaults. Also, all personal data and downloaded content will be erased.

 

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Reset.
  4. Enter the device password, then press OK. The default password is 1234.
  5. Select Master Clear.
  6. Press Yes to confirm.

 

External Memory Reset

All personal data and downloaded content stored on an optional microSD memory card will be erased.

 

  1. From the standby screen, press Menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Scroll to and select Reset.
  4. Enter the device password, then press OK. The default password is 1234.
  5. Select External Memory Reset.
  6. Press Yes to confirm.

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
