How to master reset Nokia N900
Steps to Restore Original Settings
This restores all device settings to their default values. This does not affect content or shortcuts you have created,security codes, passwords, the device language, or game scores. Also, it does not affect the contents of the device mass memory.
- Select Menu > Settings.
- Open the Settings menu and select Restore original settings and Yes.
- Enter the lock code and select Done. The default lock code is 12345.
Steps to clear device data
This restores all device settings to their default values. This deletes all user data including bookmarks,user history,passwords,cookies,contacts,calender entries and home shortcuts.
- Select Menu > Settings.
- Open the Settings menu and select Clear Device and Yes.
- Enter the lock code and select Done. The default lock code is 12345.
Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed
and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
