Steps to Reset Settings

The device settings will be reset.

 

  1. Power the device off and on.
  2. It may be necessary to uninstall third party applications like Goodlink, BlackBerry Connect and other applications that have security features.
  3. From the standby screen, press the Menu key.
  4. Scroll to and select Settings.
  5. Scroll to and select Config.
  6. Scroll to and select Phone.
  7. Scroll to and select General.
  8. Scroll to and select Reset phone settings. 
  9. Enter the Lock code, press OK. Default security code is 12345.
  10. A confirmation screen will be displayed.

 

Steps to perform Master Reset

All documents and files will be removed. Original factory settings will be restored.

 

  1. Power the device off and on.
  2. It may be necessary to uninstall third party applications like Goodlink, BlackBerry Connect and other applications that have security features.
  3. From the standby screen, enter *#7370#.The function key is not needed to type characters or numbers for this procedure. Press the key sequence and the device will change the characters as needed.
  4. Reset all original phone settings? Phone will restart.will display press Yes.
  5. Enter the Lock code, press OK. Default security code is 12345.
  6. The device will power cycle off and on.

 

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
