Steps to Reset Device

Resetting the device restores all the factory defaults, including personal data from internal device storage, information about your Google Account, any other accounts, your system and application settings, and any downloaded applications. After resetting the device, the next time you turn on the device, you are prompted to reenter the same kind of information as when you first started the device.

 

  1. Press Home > Menu > Settings > Privacy > Factory data reset.
  2. If you are certain that you would like to restore all factory settings, tap Reset phone.

 

Steps to Reset Device when you cannot recall your Unlock Pattern, PIN or Password

All user data and downloaded applications will be deleted and phone will restore to factory default settings.

 

  1. Turn the power off.
  2. Press and hold Down Volum key and Power/Lock key for over 5 seconds.
  3. When the power turns on, release the keys.

 

Warning!: While reset/restore operation under process, you are advised not to remove your battery until the operation is completed and cellphone restarts otherwise phone damage may occur.
